Sexy Hair Makeovers!

Remember last semester when we won the Sexy Hair "Caring is Sexy" Contest? On Sunday, November 6, Sexy Hair came to Athens to give us all free hair makeovers! It was so much fun: we all got new hairstyles and they hooked us up with free product to maintain them, too! Seniors had a great time at Sips 'n' Strokes!

Zeta Pis supported the Dawgs in Jacksonville for the Georgia/Florida game, and we won!!!

Parents Weekend is November 4th and 5th

Delta Zeta is so excited to celebrate the upcoming Fall Parents' Weekend on November 4th and 5th. This year we have planned a lovely Meet and Greet on Friday night with delicious appetizers and treats, a slideshow, and tours around the house by in-house girls. The Meet and Greet will be from 5:30-7:00 and we hope to see everyone stop in and meet other parents and their daughters' new sisters!
For Saturday, the day of the UGA vs New Mexico State game, we have planned a tailgate at the house with catering from Big City Bread Cafe and music from the Cody Marlowe Band. The time is TBA but the tailgate is expected to begin sometime in the morning near brunch time.
Saturday night, we have rented New Earth Music Hall and the Big Baby Band-- one of our favorites who have played for us in the past. The expected time for that is from 8:00- 12:00. Once again, we are so excited to have all our Delta Zeta parents celebrating the game weekend with us and getting the chance to meet the other parents!

Semi-Formal was so much fun!

The date night chairs had a little surprise for us-- a shout out on the Georgia Theater marquee! Thanks everyone for an amazing night!

Killarney Rose Ball Semi-Formal!

Our favorite date night of the semester is coming up on Thursday, October 13! This year it is at the recently reopened Georgia Theater at 7:30. So grab a date and come enjoy a great night and music by Boombox!

Wingbash was a success!

WINGBASH!

Wingbash is upon us! Our fall philanthropy this year is Tuesday, September 27th, from 6:00-8:00. Tickets are $7 pre-sale and $10 at the door; or you can get a ticket and t-shirt for $20 pre-sale! T-shirts are $15 separately. All profits go towards the Turtle Grant, supporting local hearing impaired individuals in the Athens area. There will be live music and a wing eating contest! We'll see you there!

Sisterhood Hike and Geocache

The Sisterhood Hike and Geocache was September 25th. We went to Fort Yargo State Park for a fun hike and a little geocaching! It was a great opportunity for all of the pledge classes to get to know each other and get to know the outdoors! Check out more pictures in the Photo Gallery!

Big/Lil Reveal 2011

On Tuesday, September 20, our new members met their big sisters! It was so much fun, as always!

Progressive Dinner was a success!

On Sunday, September 18, the new members participated in a Progressive Dinner hosted by upperclassmen. The girls had appetizers at one house, entrees at another, and dessert at another. It was a fun, tasty way for the older girls to meet the new girls.

BID DAY 2011: NEW BIDS ON THE BLOCK

We love our new baby turtles! On Monday, August 15, 2011, we welcomed another rockin' pledge class into the Zeta Pi Chapter. We have 71 new members and are so excited! Check out the photo album for more pictures!

The Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference

The Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference was July 21-24 at Miami University in Oxford, OH where Delta Zeta was founded. Our previous CCD, Lynne Ciervo, is on the Delta Zeta National Training Development Committee and was a facilitator at the conference. Our VP of Programs, Katie Webb, Secretary, Kristin Fairchild, VP of Education, Kim Desrosiers, and VP of Recruitment, Karly Seeloff also attended as officers.
