The president's job is to oversee and organize the running of the sorority, preside over all meetings of the chapter, and to represent the sorority at all Panhellenic meetings and National Conventions.

The job of the Vice President of Recruitment is to organize, oversee, and carry out formal recruitment for the Zeta Pi chapter of Delta Zeta.

VP of New Members: Scarlett Butler

The Vice President of New Membership Education is responsible for leading the New Members through their training process to becoming initiated members of the Delta Zeta Sorority. During the eight week training program the women learn the history and meaning of our sorority while becoming enlightened into the meaning of "sisterhood".

VP of Programs: Laura Wexler

The Vice President of Programs is responsible for supervising Chairman meetings with the eighteen cabinet chairmen who plan the social, service and academic programs within the sorority. She also maintains the master calender of Delta Zeta's semester events, meetings, and activites.

Treasurer: Jennifer Hendricks

The treasurer for the sorority is responsible for balancing our bank accounts, keeping current on all of our expenditures and managing the budgets for each of our various philanthropic, social and academic programs.

Secretary/Risk Management: Mandy Morgan

History, Social Studies Education Major
Third Year Student

The chapter secretary is responsible for keeping track of attendance for all chapter meetings and events as well as serving as the chapter's official record keepers of chapter minutes and membership status. As risk management officer, Mandy organizes all of the paperwork for social events for our national headquarters and provides sessions about safety and healthy living for the members.

Philanthropy Chairman: Karen Slough

The Philanthropy Chairmen is responsible for the planning and organizing of all of our philanthropy and service based events on the national, local and campus wide level. Each fall the sorority participates in the "Delta Zeta Wing Bash" in which all proceeds go to our Athens based philanthropy "The Turtle Grant" that provides services and financial support to hearing impaired within the Athens community. Each Spring we host the Delta Zeta Paintball Tournament which benefits our national philanthropy, the Painted Turtle Camp, which is a camp that is operated for children with serious illnesses.

Academics Chairman: Sara Perez

Biology Major  
Third Year Student

The Academics chairperson ensures that each woman in Delta Zeta has the opportunity to fully excel academically. She prepares incentives and rewards for people who make good grades each semester and provide resources for improving the chapter and individual's GPA.
